1920s Black Widow dress modified a bit from an actual 1920's pattern

• Goal for completion:
• Miss Fisher Con April 2019; Halloween 2019 end of November 2019
• Current status:
• Done! Cut out contrast front skirt facing because that will make it cooler and also less of a pain to hem.
• Done! Seam rip where I forgot to put in the side seam pockets in the first place and fix that terrible horrible oversight.
• In progress, with plenty of hand sewing bias strips made from the black fabric. Add side closure and finish that up.
• Hem the whole skirt. Hemming method yet to be determined. Fell down research hole on 11/10 looking for period accurate hem finish for this type of skirt.
• Fix any weird bits, probably in the miles of hand sewing that I did for reasons.
